The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples led the awarding of the Certificate of Recognition of Ancestral Domain covering 1,382.5 hectares to the ATA Indigenous Cultural Community of Sitio Manara, Brgy. Celestino, Villacin, Cadiz City, on Oct 19. In photo are Gov. Eugenio Lacson, NCIP Commissioner Jeorge Largado, and Mayor Salvador Escalante Jr. The community is composed of 139 families, and farming is their primary source of living.
