PRO-3 gets new motorcycles

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- To further boost anti-criminality drive in the region, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) acquired Monday more than a hundred motorcycle vehicles from the Directorate Logistics.

A total of 168 Kawasaki Rouser 135 brand new motorcycles were presented and blessed during yesterday's flag raising ceremony at the PRO-3 parade grounds.

PRO-3 Director Police Chief Superintendent Aaron Aquino said that the service vehicles will aid in the law enforcement and maintenance of peace and order in the region.

“With this improvement in mobility, I am in no doubt that more positive accomplishments will be achieved in the future and that the public can expect the PNP-PRO3 to respond better to crises and the delivery of our police services will be more effective and efficient. This will empower more our personnel in the performance of their duties especially on police operations,” he said.

The newly-acquired service vehicles were simultaneously distributed to different police units for utilization.

Last year, PRO-3 also received a total of 84 Kawasaki Rouser motorcycles from the Directorate for Logistics which were also distributed among the different municipal and city police stations region wide.
