IT'S the season of joy! People are nicer, kinder and happier. Christians await the coming of Jesus. Many are more generous and thoughtful. People tend to share more.
Here are common great things that people do and some should do during this season:
1. Feed the homeless. We see a lot of people with no homes in the streets. Bring or share a meal with them.
2. Visit the prison. The people deprived of their liberty will spend their Christmas in jail. Give them your time. Talk to them. Listen.
3. Be kinder to your colleagues. Celebrate together. Exchange gifts. We love our manito or manita.
4. For young children, call, visit or write your godparents. This is the best time to remember them. Let them know how you are. Who knows? You might receive a gift.
5. Be nicer to everyone. Let's honor Jesus who came to save us.
6. Come home. Reunions are fun. It's always wonderful to be with family.
7. Spend time in a shelter for the disadvantaged children or home for the aged. Let's make them happy. Play with them. Spend time with them.
8. Attend masses. Let us rejoice in His coming.
There are so many things we do in this season. Do what you can and make a difference.
