To walk down the aisle

IT TOOK 25 blissful years before the couple decided to walk down the aisle and tie the knot at the ballroom of Big 8 Corporate Hotel.

The couple was no less than the dazzling duo, general manager Roxan Obregon and debonair Engineer Reggie Obregon.

Indeed, love filled the room everywhere as if cupid’s arrow ricocheted and struck those who were there to witness the event. Food and drinks were also overflowing. The lovely usherettes lead the guests who had started to come in and strut with their elegant suits and gowns.

As the master of ceremony, Alice Cadao, started welcoming everyone and setting the atmosphere into a festive mood, the processional started. The Principal sponsors Leandro Conti, Alexander Buyco and Mildred Andolana, who were the godparents during the couple’s civil rite way back in 1992, treaded the aisle and Billy Quibod, the president and owner of Big 8 Corporate Hotel along with his lovely wife Mrs. Vilma Quibod followed suit.

Lighting their path were Armando Garces and Elvie Garces; binding them together were Benjamin Cajes and Tessie Cajes; Clothing them as one were Lito Castillones and Dahlia Lago.

Soothing sounds from the violinist took over which was matched by the local keyboardists. The event was furher spiced up with cocktails and the photo booth from Minilite Digital Photo Studio. And to the astonishment of everyone, the Jemaca Styles transformed the venue into a feast. A festive matrimonial garden appeared, laced by Memento By Pjay with video presentation by Prime Pixel Production.

The delectable fine dining banquet was matched by the performance of the Food & Beverage service staff of Big 8 corporate hotel and the wine parade commenced and everyone shared a toast to cheer the newlywed.

As the guests relished the seemingly limitless scrumptious cuisine of the master chefs along with roasted calf from the ranch, the 80s and 90s filled the air and brought back memories of yester years. (PR)
