ISABELA Mayor Joselito Malabor confirmed that Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos is arriving Friday, April 20, for their fiesta celebration, which kicked off April 15.
The celebration will culminate on April 21.
Malabor said Marcos will be flying in by helicopter and will land directly in Isabela town.
Activities on April 20 are Liga ng Barangay Day, Kasalan ng Bayan and the Search for Lin-ay sang Isabela.
Malabor said Grin Department, a band from Manila, will hold a concert today, April 18, which is also part of the festivities.
He said the concert is aimed at raising funds for the senior citizens of the said locality. Proceeds from the concert will be used to refurbish the Senior Citizens Office.
Also, the seven chieftains coming from seven barangays in the locality will be recognized on April 21, the finale of the fiesta celebration.
On the same day, there will be a street dancing competition and arena showdown. (PR)
