Cole Sprouse in Manila

“MANILA Manila Manila,” Cole Sprouse tweeted yesterday. And that’s because he is in Manila.

The 25-year-old “Riverdale” actor is in the Philippines for an endorsement contract with retail brand Bench.

But one shouldn’t expect Sprouse to shed his clothing though. Unlike “hot math teacher” Pietro Boselli, Sprouse is not endorsing Bench underwear.

Bench snapped this photo (at right) shortly after Sprouse landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last night.

“Touchdown Manila!” read Bench’s caption. “Jet-lagged and all but @colesprouse is super excited to meet you all on Friday!”

“And damn. That Bench jacket looks sooo good on him.”

Sprouse will have a “Fun Meet” with fans at the Mall of Asia Music Hall and Glorietta Activity Center today.

Sprouse and his twin brother Dylan started acting when they were just eight months old. They shared the role of Patrick Kelly in the TV show “Grace Under Fire,” which ran from 1993 to 1998. The two mostly acted together when they were younger—either sharing a role or taking on twins. Their most popular roles were as Zach and Cody Martin in “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody” (2005 to 2008) and “The Suite Life on Deck” (2008 to 2011).

Unlike most actors, though, the Sprouse twins considered education very important. They both graduated from New York University—Dylan with a degree in video game design while Cole majored in archaeology.

After graduating in 2015 and briefly working in archaeological projects, Cole returned to acting. He currently stars as Jughead in the hit teen show “Riverdale.” Dylan, on the other hand, stepped away from the cameras. He opened his own business called All-Wise Meadery, which, as the name suggests, sells mead. (JGA)
