The Great British Festival

NOW on its fifth year and celebrating for the very first time in Cebu City, the British Embassy Manila held the Great British Festival at The Pig & Palm. Members of the British Embassy present were Mike Moon (director for trade and investment), Vicki Bates (second secretary for political and strategic communications) and April Cheng (trade manager) as well as Tamsin Booth (UK honorary consul in Cebu).

“We are very excited to showcase the best of British food and drink in Cebu City in association with chef Jason Atherton. We are delighted that British beef is coming back to the Philippines after nearly 20 years,” said Moon.

Chris McKowen also said that “it is our privilege that the first time the Great British Festival is held in Cebu is here at The Pig & Palm. We cannot wait for you to try the beef dishes our head chef Karl Emsen created using beef sourced all the way from East Anglia through C&K Meats.”

The Pig & Palm is Jason Atherton’s first venture in the Philippines located at the MSY Tower in the Cebu Business Park. Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. For more on this, visit dining destination, you may contact the restaurant at 0917-657-6866 or (032) 255-8249 or visit www.thepigandpalm.com and follow @thepigandpalm on Instagram and Facebook.
