THREE major oil companies - Caltex, Petron and Shell - have increased the prices of their premium and diesel liquid petroleum products (LPP) according to the data given by the Department of Energy (DOE).
Premium gasoline now costs P48.62 per liter, or 35 centavos higher from P48.27 while diesel costs P43.90, 55 centavos higher than the previous P43.35.
Kerosene prices decreased P0.23 per liter to P49.14 from P49.37.
Science research analyst Gold Araneta said that for April 24, the estimated range for the oil price hike is P0.50-P0.60 per liter for diesel; P0.30-P0.40 per liter for gasoline; and P0.50-P0.60 per liter for kerosene. Sean Belen and Jamille Monforte, Father Saturnino Urios University Interns
