A SUSPECTED drug pusher was killed during a drug bust in Sitio Mabuhay, Barangay Luz, Cebu City last Friday evening, August 18.
Eddie Apura was shot by agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Visayas after he allegedly tried to pull his caliber .45 pistol during his arrest at 10:40 p.m. on Friday.
Apura reportedly sold a pack of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) to a PDEA agent posing as a buyer.
Recovered from his possession were a caliber .45 loaded with 7 live bullets, drug-sniffing paraphernalia and shabu with an estimated market value of P25,300.
Apura was the sixth person killed in PDEA-Central Visayas operations for the month of August this year. (JOB)
