Gacad: Mother Earth

LAST Sunday we celebrated Earth Day. The focus of this year's observance is plastic pollution. This problem is poisoning our oceans and land, injuring marine life, and affecting our health! Help end plastic pollution by finding out how many plastic items you consume every year and make a pledge to reduce the amount.

I mentioned my Nishi last time out and since it is earth day, I am reminded of my idol Sir Mario Del Rosario, the Pinoy genius responsible for inventing the Mario D water reactor that converts water to hydrogen and allows my 1992 CD17 diesel engine to run on water!

I tested Nishi from EDSA to La Union over the weekend and my 11.87 liters went for 201.6 kilometers, roughly 16.98 kilometers per liter of diesel fuel. That's still absolutely incredible considering that Nishis's reactor is running at 20 percent efficiency!

Sir Mario is now tinkering with my baby and hopefully with a few adjustments, I'd be very glad if the reactor reaches 40 to 50 percent.

Sir Mario told me that some national government agencies have approached him to look at his contraption. In fact one regional office requested to test my Nishi. What took them so long? With the jeepney modernization program on the go, a bold move to retain the Pinoy culture in modern public utility vehicles, it would have been phenomenal if the pinoy mind, thru this invention, was integrated in the design. Well, it's not too late and hopefully something pans out.

Apart from Nishi, other vehicles that were installed with the Mario D Water Reactor included a 1995 Toyota Corolla sedan with a 2e engine that ran for 340k kilometers and was due for engine overhauling. After installation of the device, the unit's hydrocarbon emission went down from 1686 to 251 and carbon dioxide from 1.68 to 0.03.

A Toyota Tamaraw FX installed with the device traversed 88 kilometers from Rosario, La Union to Carmen, Pangasinan and back with just 2.32 liters gasoline. The same vehicle climbed 37 kilometers of Kennon Road from Rosario, La Union to Baguio City with less than 1 liter of fuel.

Emission testing of the said vehicle resulted to zero carbon dioxide, zero hydrocarbon, zero lambda, zero oxygen and 0.08 carbon monoxide.

Save Mother Earth you say?

Do your share through small things like plogging and segregating? To our leaders, please have an open mind and accept that the Pinoy's ingenuity is just lingering in the sidelines. Earth day is not only about Mother Earth. Earth Day is about us and what we can do to help in healing our planet!

And Sir Mario? Thank you for keeping the faith and continuing the fight!

“The human body resonates at the same frequency as Mother Earth. So instead of only focusing on trying to save the earth, which operates in congruence to our vibrations, I think it is more important to be one with each other. If you really want to remedy the earth, we have to mend mankind. And to unite mankind, we heal the Earth. That is the only way. Mother Earth will exist with or without us. Yet if she is sick, it is because mankind is sick and separated. And if our vibrations are bad, she reacts to it, as do all living creatures.” ~ Suzy Kassem, Rise Up and Salute the Sun: The Writings of Suzy Kassem.

“Whether we walk among our people or alone among the hills, happiness in life's walking depends on how we feel about others in our hearts.” ~ Anasazi Foundation, The Seven Paths: Changing One's Way of Walking in the World.
