POLICE have arrested a government employee listed as a high-value target in a drug bust Tuesday, April 24, in Zamboanga del Sur.
Arrested was Roberto Patalot, 52, a casual employee of Dimataling municipal government and listed as No. 3 drug personality in the town, according to Inspector Jeremias Pepito, the town’s police chief.
Pepito said Patalot was arrested in drug bust in Sitio Quarry, Barangay (village) Kagawasan in Dimataling town.
Allegedly seized from the possession of Patalot were P500 marked money and eight small transparent sachets containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu.
Pepito said the suspect is detained while awaiting the filing of appropriate charges against him. (SunStar Philippines)
