PRICES of selected meat products remained stable based on the price watch by SunStar Davao on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Bankerohan Public Market.
The price of poultry product remained stable this week -- whole chicken is at P123 per kilogram (kg) to P128/kg; chicken breast at P128/kg to P145/kg; chicken thighs at P128/kg to P140/kg; and chicken wings at P130/kg to P150/kg.
Prices of pork and beef were also stable this week —- pork belly at P190/kg to P210/kg; pork ribs at P130/kg to P180/kg; beef brisket at P250/kg to 260/kg; kaldereta cut at P180/kg to P230/kg; and beef ribs at P160/kg to P180/kg.
Prices of eggs, however, increased. From P165/tray last week, the large size is now sold at P180/tray; from P150/ tray to P165/tray for medium; and P142/tray to P150/tray for small. (Jamille G. Monforte, Yvonne C. Masloc, FSUU Interns)
