A 42-YEAR-OLD woman allegedly ended her life because she suspected her husband was having an affair.
The body of Nenita (not her real name) was found by her husband and neighbors hanging from a branch of a tree in an interior village in Liloan last Tuesday night.
Nenita’s husband Danny (not his real name) told police that she was always jealous.
Danny denied the accusations against him, but Nenita would not believe him.
Before Nenita was found lifeless past 10 p.m., Danny had left their piggery to buy a piglet in the town proper.
Danny later came home and noticed that his wife was not around. He sought help from his neighbors to look for Nenita, whom they found hanging from a tree near a river.
Police ruled out foul play in Nenita’s death as there were no other wounds found on her body. (KAL)
