TEAM Hardboiled of Davao City brought home one gold and two bronze medals in the just-concluded Tabuelan 226 Triathlon 2017 held in Tabuelan, Cebu Province.
Maria "Isang" Goc-ong completed the 3.8-kilomter swim, 180K bike and 42.2K run within 14 hours and four minutes to emerge as the overall female champion.
She raced past Mary Anne Mares (14:35) and Mary Luz Shimizu (14:59) who placed second and third, respectively.
Triathlon Association of the Philippines (Trap) representative for Mindanao Eustaquio "Stax" Savellano, for his part, timed a total of 14:16 to salvaged the bronze in the 45-49 age group. He trailed behind Romeo Marquez (13:25) and Regelio Sotto (14:09) who captured the gold and silver, respectively.
Doctor Gamaliel Urbi, meanwhile, secured the 50-54 age group bronze as he checked in at 14:04. Joselito Patayan (14:59) copped the gold while Raul Manlangit (16:17) took the silver.
