MABALACAT CITY -- Employees of Park Inn by Radisson Clark shared their time and resources to orphans during a visit at the new site of the Duyan Ni Maria (Cradle of Mary) children’s home in Barangay Dapdap here on Thursday, September 21.
During their visit, the hotel executives and workers prepared a program that included dance numbers to the tune of the popular Baby Shark to entertain the kids.
They also brought the children food packs, mattresses and bed sheets, said Percibal Gamboa, Food and Beverage manager of Park Inn by Radisson Clark.
He added that the kids’ home was transferred to its new place few weeks ago from its former site at Josefa Ville in Angeles City.
The management of Duyan Ni Maria, headed by nun Sister Alexandrina Casas, is still in the process of completing its fixtures, including the children’s bedrooms, according to Gamboa.
He said they adopted the orphanage last year as part of hotel’s corporate social responsibility program.
American military servicemen staying at Park Inn even volunteered to help the Duyan Ni Maria nuns transport their equipment and materials to their new building in the city, Gamboa said.
