LPG gensets launched

LOCALLY-FOUNDED Pryce Gases Inc. (PGI) has launched two new liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)-powered generator sets (gensets) as it inks partnership with an Italian LPG manufacturer GreenGear.

Now available in the market are two variants of the LPG fuelled gensets, the 5.0 kW and 7.0 kW models, and are bundled with Prycegas 11-kilogram composite cylinder. These products are competitively priced at P64,000 and P84,000 per set respectively.

The generator product is suitable for both commercial and domestic environments and equipped with a 4-stroke engine, electric start, battery, and a multifunctional display screen. It also has alternators fitted with an automatic voltage regulation stabilizer and features a circuit breaker in case maximum power exceeds.

During the launching ceremony last Friday, April 27, PGI chairman Salvador Escano said investing in LPG-powered generator set is economical and a necessary step in the crucial shift for cheaper, cleaner, and safe energy, especially with the at his time when prices of petroleum product are expected to increase.

PGI President Rafael Escano said bigger LPG-powered generator sets, with 10kW capacity, will be introduced in the market soon.

Vincent Choy, representative of GreenGear Italy, assured that the LPG generator sets they are introducing has been tested and is compliant to European standards.

PGI, which is a leading supplier of LPG used for cooking in the Visayas and Mindanao, has expanded its product line in partnership with the new partnership.

It is a Filipino company which has grown as major player in the LPG industry from its humble beginning in Cagayan de Oro. It is engaged in importation and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) under the trade name PRYCEGAS as well as in the manufacture and distribution of medical and industrial gases. PGI operates its own LPG bulk terminals, LPG refilling plants and sales centers strategically located nationwide.
