Tell it to SunStar: The worst of crooks, 1

IN 1979, I became seriously interested in the Bible. I joined Bible studies, the Charismatic movement, the Cursillo movement, prayer meetings and any activity that would study and discuss the contents of the Bible.

A few weeks later, I decided to study the Bible on my own because I cannot agree with or understand how these “luminaries” treated the Bible.

These, among others were what I heard from them: 1) The Bible is the word of God; 2) If you read the Bible now, God is talking to you; 3) You must not interpret the Bible literally.

Bearing in mind that the Bible is the foundation of knoweledge and wisdom, I began to study the Bible by myself. By 2019 hopefully, I will consider myself a graduate of B.S. Bibliology, after 40 years of self-study.

For the next article, I will be sharing with you the few things I learned from the Bible.--Chito E. Germino of Paknaan, Mandaue City
