Unsay feeling nga No. 1 ang imong kanta sa Spotify? Did you expect it?
I never did expect it gyud. What I expected was my supporters, that I call my “Kadhaierz”, will love it because the title of the song. “Mangamatay Ratang Tanan” is one of my famous lines on my videos on “Mayman ka dhai” I guess that my kadhaierz love me way too much that it led to my first ever single in the top spot of Spotify’s Viral 50 and I’m forever thankful to them for that.
Can you sing some few lines?
My favorite lines are “Hinaot mahimong kita pero dili ta mangandoy ug forever nga molahutay” and “Ambot nganu pero gaan akong paminaw basta kita ang mag-uban.”
Kanus-a ni nimo gi-compose?
I started writing the song June 2017 sa Agusan del Sur sa akong hometown, just days right after ko gioperahan sa akong impacted wisdom tooth. It’s true nga kung maka-feel kag kasakit, kasakit sa heart or in my case, kasakit sa ngipon kay maka sulat gyud kag kanta. Hahaha! Ang melody sa Mangamatay Ratang Tanan kay kalit-kalit ra nako na huna-hunaan ug girecord dayun nako siya sa akong phone para dili nako malimtan, and while listening to the melody, didto na dayun nako na insert ang lyrics nga “Hi dong. Ganahan kaayo ko nimo kay ikaw ang klaseng dili magpabadlong.”
Unsay naka-inspire nimo og suwat aning kantaha?
Ang naka inspire nako ang akong mga “kadhaierz” because they loved the line “Mangamatay Ratang Tanan” so much.
Di ba “bitter” og dating ang title?
It’s more of a bitter sweet song but it’s interpreted in a comedy way. The song’s about a girl who had her heart broken into tiny pieces and it took everything in her just to move on. And finally, the time has come that she met a guy and she’s ready to love all over again, but then she realized nga “walay forever”. She’s gonna get her heart broken again and we’re all going to die anyway so, she said: “Hinaot mahimong kita pero dili ta mangandoy ug forever nga molahutay. I gotta let you go kay mangamatay ratang tanan.”

Yes, giingnan nako sa akong ex ana pero joke joke raman to namo. Hahaha!
Are you now in a relationship?
I’m not in a relationship. Actually, kausa pa ko naka-boyfriend since birth. I’m still in the middle of finding and healing myself. My love life and char life has been a rough ride man gyud. My ideal boyfriend is just someone that I can be myself with, comfortable with, can connect & relate with. Bonus nalang ang sense of humor and talented.
You’ve been known as media influencer because of “Mayman ka dai.” Please tell us more about this.
“Mayman ka dhai” was my favorite expression pag-college. Katong panahon nga wala pa ang Mayman ka dhai, ga video-video na gyud ko sa akong personal Facebook account and maboang ra kog katawa sa akong self, and then a time came nga ni ana akong friend sa ako nga “Ibutang tanan imong videos sa usa ka page para hinlo tan-awn.” So, I did what she said and eventually, daghan ang nakapansin sa akong videos and all. 2015 ko nagsugod so, mag-3 years na ang Mayman ka dhai. Akong likes currently is 548,414 and akong followers 586,717.
Unsay contract nimo sa Viva?
5 years akong contract. Wala pako naka-plan anang album. I’m still on cloud nine sa feedback sa “Mangamatay Ratang Tanan”. But of course, mag write gihapon kog songs and collab with other artists and hopefully, if I master this craft mag-album nako.
