Volleyball all-star games set in Silay

BIG and exciting volleyball games are set to be played at the Natalio Velez Gymnasium in Silay City on May 18 to 19, which is part of the Philippine Superliga Tour in Negros.

Local TV personality Carmela Gamboa organized these games.

She said, “We are thrilled to organize the all-star games where local players will get to see in action their favorite players and be inspired to train hard, and reach a certain level in sports.”

The players include Kim Fajardo, Cha Cruz-Behag, Ara Galang, Major Baron, and Aby Maraño, all of F2 Logistics; Rhea Dimaculangan, Ces Molina, Remy Palma, and Mika Reyes, all of Petron; Rhoselle Urizza and Maureen Penetrante, both of Smart; Aeriel Patnongon and Denden Lazaro, both of Coco Life; Mika Lopez and Carol Cerveza, both of Generika Ayala; Jheck Dionela of Cignal, and Make Ortiz of Foton.

Game 1 of the All-Star players will be on May 18 at 4 p.m., while Game 2 will be played on the following day.

The players are expected to arrive a day before the game for the “Meet and Greet” with their fans at the malls in Bacolod City.

A volleyball camp for the Silay kids along with these stars will also be held to cater to aspiring volleyball enthusiasts.

The event is expected to draw a huge crowd in Negros.
