FOUR people were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Zamboanga City, the police said Friday, May 18.
Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspects as the following: Benny Bugay, 28; Jabar Mohammad, 27; Lovelyn Golveo, 38; and, Jeffrey Andaluz, 25.
Galvez aid that Bugay and Mohammad were arrested in a drug bust at 9:45 p.m. Thursday in Tugbungan village.
Galvez said confiscated from the suspects’ possession were three heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and P300 marked money.
She said Golveo and Andaluz were arrested in another drug bust at 11:30 p.m. of same day in Camino Nuevo village.
She said the suspects yielded four heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu and P200 marked money.
She said the suspects were detained while appropriate charges are set to be filed against them. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
