Pineda: Bea Alonzo surprised by chopper ride with Gerald Anderson

HAS Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson reconciled? It looks like all is well between Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson nine days after she was quoted saying that she is “technically” single. But the two seemed to be working things out especially after they visited the scenic spot of Mt. Pinatubo in Botolan, Zambales, last Monday, May 14.

Bea said she was overjoyed when Gerald surprised her with a luxurious chopper ride to Mt. Pinatubo.

“Nagulat ako kasi nga, parang hindi ko ine-expect yun. First time nagawa sa akin, so masaya naman.”

Bea said she really appreciated Gerald’s effort to make her feel special amid her busy schedule promoting her movie Kasal.

“Ang ganda ng experience ko, 'tapos helicopter pa, nakakasosyal! Chos! Hindi, pero gusto ko bumalik, kasi gusto ko mag-hike. Yung araw na yun, ang dami ko gagawin, kasi yun lang ang day-off ko. E, mag-premiere night, so kinailangan ko magpakulay ng buhok, kinailangan ko magpa-derma, kinailangan ko mag-work. So, konti lang talaga yung oras. Kaya pala pinili niyang magpa-chopper kasi nga I only had three hours.”

Without delving into the status of her relationship with Gerald, Bea quipped that it was too bad that he isn’t adept at taking beauty shots because she would have wanted an impromptu pictorial with the picturesque Mt. Pinatubo crater as backdrop.

“Pangarap ko talaga pumunta dun. 'Tapos hindi ko akalain na magla-land kami sa crater. It was an amazing experience! Ang ganda-ganda kasi boiling hot yung water, parang may smoke machine! Ang ganda-ganda niya talaga! Sabi ko nga, pang-editorial, ‘Puwede ako mag-fashion shoot dito!’

Kaya lang, hindi siya magaling mag-picture, so hindi magaganda yung shots ko.”

While she didn’t speak about getting back together with Gerald, Bea seemed comfortable answering queries about them spending quality time together.

The 30-year-old Kapamilya actress also acknowledged the fact that Gerald’s dad, Gerald Randy Anderson Sr., has been supportive of the two of them.

Addressing how Gerald’s dad totally approves of her, Bea replied, “He’s the sweetest!”

This is in relation to the elder Anderson's series of Instagram posts showing travel photos of the celebrity couple via Instagram last, May 16.

Alden Richards needed no special occasion to hold a mini get-together with the nuns and children of Holy Trinity Home for Children, a charitable institution located in Fairview, Quezon City, last May 10.

As reported by GMANetwork.com, the Kapuso actor dropped by the institution to spend time with the kids. Holy Trinity Home for Children is one of the charitable institutions Alden has been reaching out to since he started his showbiz career.

This is also one of the places where he celebrates his birthday every January. The Eat Bulaga! regular related how giving back is one of the ways he finds purpose in his work as a celebrity.

He said, “The experience that you give to people with what you’re doing? Minsan kasi you touch lives through it, e. Since we’re public figures, we’re always seen on TV, in print, in social media, etcetera. Ang primary goal ko talaga, no matter how negative or unfair this business can be, I’m just gonna continue to do good para nakikita ko yung purpose ng trabaho ko, the purpose of why I’m staying, and why I’m still doing this job...I pray for wisdom; I pray for patience. I’m just focusing on my work to be able to deliver whatever is needed of me.”
