CAGAYAN de Oro City National High School (CDONHS) clinched a semifinal seat after virtually topping bracket B in the ongoing 2018 Rebisco Volleyball League under-18 girls Northern Mindanao leg.
The City High Tigers remain undefeated after surviving a tight match via 25-17, 20-25, 25-19 decision against St. Michael’s College of Cagara Friday, May 18, at the Nazareth gym here.
The Tigers will not slide down from the top in case a loss in their final match against Agusan National High School in the elimination round.
Iligan National High School, last year’s Shakey’s V-League Normin champion, occupies the second place with one win and a loss.
Agusan, St. Michael and Valencia High School were in joint third with one win and two defeats, respectively.
Meanwhile, Corpus Christi School lady Knights took the leaderboard in bracket A with two wins and a loss.
Corpus posted its second win with 25-15, 25-9 trouncing of Punta Flecha of Zambonga del Sur.
Its only loss came from the hands of Merry Child School, 12-15, 25-16, 18-25.
