CEBU CITY -- Over 3,000 athletes coming from 96 local government units of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao gathered at the Cebu City Sports Center Saturday afternoon for the opening of the Philippine National Games 2018.
Athletes from all over the country will vie for the 2,578 medals – 770 gold medals, 770 silver medals and 1,038 bronze medals—from 19 sports events.
President Rodrigo Duterte will grace the opening ceremonies. (SunStar Philippines)
