AJ Galendez ruled the Datba weekly qualifying bowling after amassing a total of 797 pinfalls in the four-game series bowlout presented by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association held at the SMLanang Premier Bowling Center over the weekend.
He will then advance to the monthly finals.
He bested Gab Velasco and Edmund Cambaliza, who placed second and third, respectively.
Velasco was just two pin falls behind Galendez, having 795 while Cambaliza had 783.
The champion received P1,000 while the next two placers went home with P700 and P400, respectively.
