SunStar Bacolod won Best in Environmental Reporting award in the daily category at the PPI 2017 Civic Journalism Community Press Awards.
In the previous year, SunStar Bacolod also won the Best in Business and Economic Reporting award.
As journalists, we’re not here for the awards and accolades. We only want to do our jobs. That is to report the truth and stories that could change history – one that could have an impact on the community.
