World-famous Chili’s brings the best American fares

BEING the former military facility for American and Filipino forces from 1903 to 1991, the Clark Air Base now known as the Clark Freeport Zone, is the perfect go-to destination if you’re craving for American cuisine.

The bustling freeport offers a wealth of choices when it comes to Southwestern-style dining outlets, and options are getting better especially now that the world-famous Chili’s has finally opened its doors at SM City Clark.

During its formal opening held Friday, Chili’s marketing manager Ginette Estepa noted that the newly-opened store is the first Chili’s branch outside Metro Manila. The milestone coincides with the restaurant chain’s 21st year in the Philippines.

She highlighted that as the latest addition to Chili’s growing portfolio in the country, the store, which can accommodate over 85 guests, sports the new Chili’s look with a sleeker and more modern vibe, muted lights, and streamlined furniture for a softer feel.

Estepa shared that the warm and welcoming ambiance is meant to complement their downright delectable and flavorful comfort food offerings that embody their tagline “Taste an American Original.”

“We offer menu items of great American flavors and size. We are known for our Signature Wings, our Skillet Queso paired with our crunchy Tostada Chips, our gooey Classic Nachos and Quesadillas, Baby Back Ribs, Fajitas, sinful Molten Chocolate Cake, and of course, our wide array of Margaritas,” she said.

She relayed that apart from these classic and authentic Tex-Mex specialties and scintillating drinks, Chili’s has also brought in their signature exemplary service at their 11th branch.

“We can say that our main edge is our friendly staff who’s willing to go out of their way to give our guest a memorable dining experience, plus of course, the most important ingredient to our success which is our consistency in everything—from the great American flavor and the large portions that can be shared, to our warm service,” she quipped.

Aside from SM City Clark, Chili’s is also located at key locations in Metro Manila including Greenbelt, Greenhills, Tomas Morato, Rockwell Powerplant, Alabang Town Center, Megamall, Mall of Asia, U.P. Town Center, The Block SM North EDSA, and Robinsons Galleria.

About Chili’s

Chili's Grill & Bar opened its first restaurant in 1975 on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, Texas. Created as a hamburger restaurant/chili house with a uniquely Southwestern flair, Chili's served homemade quality food, draft beer, and frozen drinks in a casual atmosphere.

The menu was as simple as the food was outstanding, with items like the Oldtimer—a ½ lb. hamburger topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions and mustard, and a bowl of Texas Red Chilli.

Today, Chili's has more than 1,400 locations in 28 different countries around the world.
