MAKAHULOGAN ang mensahe ni Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio sa iyang amahan nga si Presidente Rodrigo Duterte alang sa Father's Day karong adlawa.
"Dear Digong, You were hard on me about education and work. You impressed upon me that I am not a person if I am not a lawyer or a doctor and if I do not work for our country," tipik sa mensahe sa Mayor pinaagi sa City Information Office (CIO) Sabado, Hunyo 16.
Mapasalamaton usab ang mayor sa iyang amahan diha sa kaligdong niini ug giingon nga kung di tungod sa iyang amahan ug sa iyang inahan dili siya ingon niini karon, gumikan sila ang naghulma kaniya sa maayong buhat ug ang prinsipyo sa pagserbisyo sa katawhan.
"And I am grateful for the rigidity. I would not be where I am now if I did not have you as a father and my Mama.
I have your twisted sense of humor and the drive to achieve and these are some of my useful tools as I navigate life. Thank you. Happy Father’s Day!" dugang pa niya.
