Based on the report released by the Pampanga Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDDRMO), the barangays situated in the towns of Macabebe, Masantol, Guagua and Lubao are still under four feet of floodwaters caused by the heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon.

The flooded barangays include Telacsan, San Francisco, Sta. Rita, Castuli, Caduang Tete, Consuelo and San Rafael in Macabebe town; and Alauli, Bagang, Balibago, Nigui, Sagrada, San Agustin, San Isidro Matua, Sapang Kawayan, Sta. Lucia Paguiaba, Sta. Lucia Wakas and Sta. Monica in Masantol town.

In Guagua town, three villages - Bancal, Sto. Cristoa and Sta. Filomena - are still submerged in floodwaters while eight barangays in Lubao town namely Remedios, San Nicolas, San Roque Arbol, Sto. Tomas, Bancal Pugad, Bancal Sinubli, San Jose Gumi and Sta. Teresita III are experiencing the same.

The PDDRMO disclosed that water levels in dams and rivers are still in normal level and major thoroughfares and road networks are still passable except for Maliwalu-Lara road in Bacolor town which is not passable as of noon yesterday.

While weather is reportedly fair in the coming days, PDDRMO head Angie Blanco advised the public to be careful and stay away rivers and waterways.

Pampanga residents are also advised to be wary of their surroundings and implement pre-emptive evacuations should the flood water rise in their area.
