A GRAND event of beauty and grace, in celebration of SM’s 60th anniversary, was held at the Mountain Wing Atrium of SM Seaside City Cebu, following a mass at the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod and a solemn procession. Adding to the celebration was the annual Santacruzan sa Sugbo 2018, which was graced by 30 beautiful women from all over the city of Cebu.
Making its 60th year extra special, a series of 60 exciting themed visual attractions, fun experiences and interactive activities are planned for SM’s valuable customers from the month of May to October in SM malls nationwide.
The SM Group, established in 1958 by founder Henry Sy Sr., opened the very first Shoemart store in downtown Manila. It has risen over the past years and currently has close to a thousand retail stores, 70 shopping malls in The Philippines and seven shopping malls in China!
