Stay SOLTI, look sweet

Stay SOLTI, look sweet

WITH the continuing rise of the disposable culture, it’s easy for everyone (including fashion houses) to simply throw away things they no longer need. That’s why when emerging brands come into the scene, people are now eying more the brands that can amalgamate innovation with sustainability.

Style ambassador and health and fitness advocate Kymberly Maitland-Smith launched the SOLTI Activewear line at Quest Hotel and Conference Center last June 9. SOLTI, a portmanteau of SOL (Spanish for sun) and SALTY, is more than just one’s typical bikini.

With both the customer and the planet in mind, SOLTI uses textiles from recovered fabric cast aside by large manufacturers. All of SOLTI’s items are proudly hand-crafted in Cebu. From swimwear, sportswear to resort-wear, these pieces represent women of varying sizes, preferences, ages and occasion. The pieces are also versatile and can be worn as part of a complete outfit.
