With the defeat of Lemar Alcover in Barangay Sambag 1 in the last barangay elections, residents who voted for Ailien Guardo are looking forward to some changes in the barangay.
Unfortunately, the new administration will not formally take over until after the end of the month so that might explain why many loud teens continue to roam its streets late at night or drink by the side of the road. Or why some of the side roads in have become overnight dump sites because of uncollected garbage. (PJ Boholt III)
