Mang Inasal 500th store boosts booming Iloilo City

THE Iloilo City Government welcomes the milestone opening of Mang Inasal 500th store as manifestation of high investor's confidence to the booming metropolis.

Mayor Jose Espinosa III together with Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon graced the grand opening of Mang Inasal at Iloilo City Center, Mandurriao, June 19.

Espinosa congratulated Mang Inasal Founder Edgar Sia II, Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) country head Joseph Tambuntiong, JFC CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong and Mang Inasal Strategic Business Unit head Jojo Subido.

“I am very proud that Mang Inasal chose Iloilo City to be the host of its 500th store. This only means that investors and businessmen have much confidence in bringing business here,” Espinosa said.

“You can always count on the City Government for we’ll help you in any way we can. We also assure you that Ilonggos are excited to try another best dining experience. Welcome to Iloilo City, the city for investment, the city for everyone,” he added.

Mang Inasal started its first store in the metropolis.

Sia thanked those who’ve been part of the store’s success.

“It’s like dream to be standing in front of you gracing our 500th store. I am very happy because all the sacrifices over the years paid off. Thank you to the special people who helped and supported for the growth of this company,” Sia said.

“To the franchisees all over Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, store managers, servers and crews and to the Filipino consumers, you are the reason why Mang Inasal continues to shine brighter,” he added.

Subido said the newly-opened store is fourth generation iconic and provincial, homey-style to make customers feel at home.

“Our mission is to serve great tasting food and bring joy of eating to everyone and part of it is giving them best dining experience by providing good ventilation, high ceiling, and colorful dining set up. That makes this store different,” he said.

“This is already our 17th store in Iloilo City. It’s just right to go back to our roots since the first Mang Inasal was opened in Robinsons Car Park in 2003. We’ll make sure to continue serving the Ilonggos,” Subido said. (PR)
