A TRUCK boy died after his face was pinned by a dump truck’s drop box in Barangay Magdugo, Toledo City last Monday afternoon.
Police identified the fatality as Rolando Ologan, 22. He succumbed to severe injuries in the head and other parts of his body.
Investigation showed Ologan, who was also a mechanic, was repairing the truck before the incident happened. The victim was lying beneath the drop box, which fell on his face after it malfunctioned.
The other mechanic was not hit as he was far from the victim. Ologan was rushed to the Toledo City District Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor. (KAL)
