Briefs: Reporter wows ‘The Wasp’

EVANGELINE Lilly was starstruck by ABS-CBN entertainment reporter Marie Lozano’s outfit when the later approach the “Ant-Man and the Wasp” actress for a selfie. “Oh my god, I saw you in the thing this morning—the press conference when we had the whole room!” Lilly told Lozano, according to an ABS-CBN report. “I was like, ‘Oh my god! Look at her outfit; look at her hair. She’s amazing!’” Lilly, who was also in a jumpsuit, said she and Lozano look like twins. Lozano was in a Charina Sarte number. “It was a great twinning moment with Evangeline, but more than this, it was honor to once again showcase Filipino talent!” Lozano said on Instagram.

XXXTentacion shooting: suspect arrested

A 22-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged with murder days after the killing of rising rap star XXXTentacion, who was fatally shot in his luxury BMW electric car as he left an upscale motorcycle dealership in Florida. Dedrick Devonshay Williams of Pompano Beach was arrested shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday after a traffic stop, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said a statement. Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, 20, who went by the stage name pronounced “Ex Ex Ex ten-ta-see-YAWN,” was gunned down Monday, bringing a violent end to a brief music career that was marked by controversy and arrests. Is Demi no longer sober?

DEMI Lovato celebrated six years of sobriety in March, but her new song indicates she may no longer be sober. The pop star released “Sober” on YouTube, singing lyrics like: “Momma, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore. And, daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor.” Lovato tweeted a link to the song with the words “My truth.” The singer-actress struggled with an eating disorder, self-mutilation and other issues, entering rehab in 2010. She has spoken out about her battles with drugs and alcohol over the years, and she’s become a role model for young women and men who have faced their own issues. (AP)
