Good energy

ITS name means “house of good energy,” so says its blurb. It’s one place I will never have enough of, except that, it's far.

In Moalboal, Cebu to be exact. The place is Hale Manna Coastal Gardens. It's a resort that is known for its rustic feel, a garden where you can feel the serenity of the place, really, really good food, and yes, positive energies. It was just my second time there.

The first time was maybe four years ago on my birthday. It was like coming home. It's a bit out of the way as you have to drive a certain distance on uncemented road to reach Hale Manna, but if you have the time and need to detox, this is a highly recommended place.

The rooms are big, the place is quiet, and the staff are the most accommodating.

Don't miss their pizza, the Handuraw pizza in Cebu and Hale Manna are one and the same, so yes, enjoy. But the other food are just as good. And their breakfast sets are HUGE, so if you're on a diet or eat like a bird, then share.

Like, I ordered the smoked bangus set for breakfast and got a whole medium-sized bangus with omelet and watermelon slices. I was like, wait! I ate it all anyway.

How to contact? Their email is stay@halemanna.com and you can contact them through its owner's cellular phones: +6332 3162603 | +63922 8424939 SUN | +63917 5466929 GLOBE

We didn't get to interact with the owner Becky Pestano-Smith when we were there recently. I did get the chance to meet her four years ago, and Hale Manna reflects her disposition and principles of living close to earth.
