CRYSTAL Chavez joined the monthly finalists after topping the Datba weekly qualifying bowling tournament held at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center over the weekend.
Chavez rolled down a total of 620 pins after three games in the event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association.
She prevailed over youth bowler Gab Velasco and veteran Romy Serrano, who placed second and third, respectively.
Velasco amassed 592 pin falls while Serrano tallied 582.
Chavez, meanwhile, received P1,000 while the runners-up had P700 and P400.
The champion advances to the monthly finals slated on the end of June. (ABM)
