TALISAY CITY and Sibonga drew first blood in the South Division semifinal round of the Governor’s Cup 2018 Basketball Tournament in the Alegria Municipal Gym. Talisay City crushed Barili, 113-88, with a total team effort, with four players scoring double figures. Elmer Echavez led Talisay with 20 points, Ronan Briones added 16, Keaton Taburnal had 14, and Jay Deiparine chipped in 13. Karl Caballero led Barili’s charge with 19 markers. Christian Saban and Charlie Sabanal contributed 14 and 10 points, respectively.
