THREE days from now, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo will rock the city again for the Davao leg of her #This15Me Concert Tour on June 30 at SMX Convention Center, SM Lanang Premier, Davao City, as a celebration of her 15 years in the show business.
The concert was brought by EKG Productions company owned and operated by Mr. & Mrs. Emil & Kate Mamalias-Gayap. This concert will benefit the children in Davao School for the Blind.
“The concert is one of the major entertainment events of the year. It is a rare show that will showcase Sarah’s myriad talents and her accomplishments as a singer, actress and the country’s foremost concert draw these past 15 years,” Kate Gayap said.
Sarah recorded 22 albums that among these are Sweet Sixteen, Taking Flight, Perfectly Imperfect and The Great Unknown. She appeared in box-office hits like Maybe This Time, A Very Special Love and others.
She is a regular in the Sunday noontime variety show ASAP and was one of the coaches in The Voice Philippines and The Voice Kids Philippines.
Among her guests during the concert are Xian Lim, Sam Concepcion and the G-Force dancers.
Geronimo has become controversial in her recent US tour where she broke down in tears and turned emotional while performing her song "Forever's Not Enough" but didn’t finish it and walked out the stage after she apologize. She admitted that she become exhausted and empty inside while recalling her idol Michael Jackson being in the constant spotlight and surrounded by diehard fans, she said that she was not ready for that kind of fame.
