Wa pa gani dangti og 24 oras ang gi-upload nga screengrab video sa usa ka Facebook user nga si Rachel Fernandez, ang iyang post nag-viral na sa social media.
Ang gi-post ni Fernandez screengrab gikan sa Instagram stories sa usa ka Christy Masong.
Kagahapon, ang post ni Fernandez nakaangkon na og sobra sa 1.1 milyon ka views, kapin sa 16,000 ka shares, kapin sa 5,000 ka reactions ug kapin 2,000 ka mga comments.
Atol ning pagsuwat, deactivated ang social media accounts ni Masong apan nakakuha og official statement ang Superbalita Cebu gikan kaniya.

“This is to clarify a video posted online without my permission which has went viral and has caused damage to me and my friends. The post was obviously used to malign a person of good repute for malicious and political intentions. We will not allow ourselves to be used by such kind of propaganda it is not fair to us and to Mayor Luigi Quisumbing, his family and supporters. Whoever is responsible in posting the video has no respect for our rights as a person and should be ashamed for resorting to such kind of dirty tactics,” ni Masong sa iyang text sa Superbalita Cebu.

“Clearly, it was edited, then it was spliced in order to put malice sa perception sa publiko. The question there is ang timing sa pagpagawas sa maong video, could it be any more suspicious and clearly it was used to derail and distract the public... There were other people present in the video (event) but the video did not show it. Like I said that the video was clearly edited and spliced nga nipakita nga way lain but there are other guests nga present in that private party,” ni Bathan ning mantalaan.

“It was taken and exposed without their permission and the mayor is just amazed and amused sa ilang gigamit nga propaganda against him. He remains steadfast sa iyang tinguha to solve criminalities and eradicate all forms of crimes here in the city, focus sa safety and security then padayon tag trabaho diri sa syudad sa Mandaue,’ dason ni Bathan.
