A CARABAO in North Cotabato ended up tired and weary after a drunk man raped it some two weeks ago.
According to two women who witnessed the incident, the carabao is owned by their neighbor in one of the barangays in Midsayap.
The witnesses, who are not identified for security reasons, said the carabao surprisingly did not resist when the man raped it.
They added that they immediately sought the assistance of their neighbors when they saw the incident, alarming the suspect who hurriedly left the area.
Women in the barangay worry that the suspect might do the same to them.
Because of this, barangay officials and the members of Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team are conducting evening patrol to apprehend the suspect.
