Last July 2013, Joemar Lamata and Raphael Banta, co-hobbyists in the fields of photography established Your Ever After Studios.
We want our clients to reminisce what was good, what was fun, what was special during those special moments in their lives, Raphael describes the goal of the photography studios which specializes in weddings and special portraits.
He describes their photos as timeless, real, contemporary, elegant images. A brand they are instilling in their every commissioned project.
Our mission is creating intuitive concepts yet different from others. We try to staying up to trend and keeping our mind as open as it can possibly be, Joemar adds.
Raphael is a former IT professional who was once hailed as an Most Outstanding IT Student for Region 11 by Philippine Society of IT Educators (PSITE) started photography in 2009. He is currently the president of the Davao-based photography group Maniniyot Community or MCOM.
While Joemar started his career as a motion graphic artist as a freelancer making wedding and company presentations. In 2007, he got his first DSLR camera and months later started accepting photography jobs mostly documenting events like parties. Joemar has done some several projects for boutiques, online apparel shops and restaurants and other companies.
We had the same approach to our work and also our styles in photography jibe, says Raphael in describing the partnership.
We do not just treat the studio as a business partnership but also as an artistic collaboration. That is why we assure our clients that we are not just taking their photos for business sake but it is also a chance to use our imagination and boundless passion, Raphael adds.
During our shoots, we want our clients to savor that moment, to have fun. That it is not a burden but a sweet and memorable experience, Joemar describes Your Ever After shoots.
Aside from weddings and personalized portraits the studio also provides services for corporate events, food, fashion, babies and family portraits. While not busy with their studios, Joemar and Ralph spend time with friends from MCOM either with their fun shoots or photography-related activities. Last August the group mounted its second photo-exhibit at SM City Davao.
