TERESITA Ssen "Winwyn" Marquez is bringing home the second international pageant crown in less than 24 hours as she was named Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 on November 4 (Sunday morning, November 5 in Manila) in Sta. Cruz, Bolivia.
Marquez, 25, bested 26 other candidates. She is the first representative of the Philippines and Asia in the said pageant, which celebrates Hispanic heritage.
Pageant organizers posted a livestream of the coronation night on its Facebook page.
Marquez, who succeeded Colombia's Maria Camila Soleibe as Reina Hispanoamericana, is the niece of former Miss International Melanie Marquez and the daughter of actors Joey Marquez and Alma Moreno.
