More Pinay beauties to compete for int'l titles this November

PINOY beauty contests enthusiasts will be treated to an exciting and pageant-filled month of November.

Fresh from the international win of Karen Ibasco and Teresita "Winwyn" Marquez in the "Miss Earth 2017" and "Reina Hispanoamericana 2017" competitions respectively, five more Filipinas will take center stage to represent the Philippines in the coming days.

Mariel de Leon, the daughter of seasoned actors Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong, will compete in the Miss International pageant on November 14 in Tokyo, Japan.

The 23-year-old aspiring opera singer is aiming for a back-to-back win for the country after the success of Kylie Verzosa in last year's competition.

Meanwhile, former courtside reporter Laura Lehmann will compete in the Miss World pageant happening on November 18 in Sanya, China.

The 24-year-old is among the 120 entrants who will vie to succeed Puerto Rico's Stephanie Del Valle.

And to cap off the month of November is the much-anticipated Miss Universe 2017 pageant, which will be held at The Axis of Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Camarines Sur beauty Rachel Peters will represent the Philippines in the 66th edition of the beauty competition.

Peters is one of the crowd favorites during the Binibing Pilipinas pageant held last May.

The 26-year-old finished International Studies from the British School in Thailand and has a Bachelor of Business, Tourism and Events degree from La Trobe University in Australia.

December also proves to be an exciting month as two Pinays will vie for international beauty titles.

Model Chanel Olive Thomas will represent the Philippines in Miss Supranational 2017 happening on December 1st in a spa resort city of Krynica Zdroj in Poland.
