ZAMBOANGA City second district Representative Celso Lobregat marked his last working day in 2017, December 29, by leading the inauguration of P157-million infrastructure projects initiated by his office.
Lobregat, House Committee on Public Works and Highways chairperson, started his last working day by proceeding to the various projects sites in his district.
The first district, locally known as the west coast, covers 37 of this city’s 98 villages.
Officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) headed by Abraham Aquino, the project engineer, joined Lobregat in the project visitation and inauguration.
The projects that were inaugurated and its corresponding value are the following: Phase 3 of the Ayala-La Paz road covering 2.3 kilometers, P93.1 million; road networks along Sitios Pole Diutay and Pole Grande in La Paz village with 718.97 linear meters, P7.478 million; 662.9 linear meters farm-to-market road in Sitio Lakumba, Limpapa, P9.298 million; 691.98 linear meters flood control project in Sitio Busugan, Sinubong, P18.520 million; 570 linear meters flood control project along Ayala river-Tulungatung section, P19.268 million; and, 800 linear meters Phase 2 Baluno-Nangka farm-to-market road in Baluno, P9.456 million.
Rolando Soler, Sinubong village chief, said the projects initiated by Lobregat will be of big help to the constituents, especially the farmers, in the west coast.
Soler said the projects inaugurated on Friday are among the numerous projects initiated by Lobregat’s office in the first district.
