THE little girl is now a lady. Nonamizet Yahya Corteza arrived at the venue like a true princess. Wearing her Mark Joseph Sayad blue couture gown, Nonamizet looks so gorgeous, full of style, and class.

Friends and loved ones were on hand to celebrate this special day with Missy, as she is fondly called by people close to her. As the first apo of Joseph and Thelma Yahya and Yvonne and Edgar Corteza Sr., Missy is beaming with happiness and joy.
A rare combination of beauty and brains, Missy, whose actual birthday is Dec 19, 1999, was beaming with happiness. Her step into womanhood was made extra special because of the presence of her beloved friends and family. A consistent honor student and currently at Grade 11 at Ateneo De Davao. She is the daughter of a world-class billiard player Lee Vann Corteza and Shakira Yahya.
The Apo View Hotel ballroom was turned into a cooling effect of a snowy enchanted wonderland, styled by Noel Tanza of Golden Touch and the coordination arm of Korine Navarro and hosted by Mr. Jocs Corona.
“The debut shoot was tiring but fun since it really brought me out of my comfort zone and it was a satisfying time”, describing the rigors of the shoot spearheaded by Dexterity Studios. The debutante’s official photographer the day was Richard Padillo and team.
Missy is also the lovely niece of one of Davao’s premier stand-up comedian Chabz Barrios Corteza.
Everything is impeccable. And judging from the smiles that abound that night, we could easily conclude that the money spent on her party was definitely worth it - after all the main goals of throwing an 18th birthday party are for the debutante to be happy and to introduce her to the society, right?
