FOR the past three days, since the start of Session Road in Bloom, we’ve had the energy of gratitude and appreciation inside our stall.
There is a vase of them on top of our glass counter, their colors range from white, to a light minty green, deep purple, and yellow.
The flowers are lisanthius, more popularly known as paper roses. They are a gift from our good friends and clients Pau and Chazz Cuyuca, who grow beautiful local and exotic flowers at Sunrise Cabin, their farm in Sayangan.
Scientifically known as eustona, "eu" from the Greek word for beautiful and "stoma" for mouth, these flowers have attracted a lot of pictures and selfies these past few days. There was even a lady who told us it was a dream come true for her to see these flowers "in person."
Lisanthius originated from North America. In flower speak, they say "thank you, I appreciate and acknowledge you."
We are touched.
In the mineral world, the crystal that holds a similar signature as the lisanthius is the Peridot.
Peridots are the crystal for the energy of increase, the energy of blessings. They hold the frequency of gratitude and appreciation, vibrations that resonate with the universal laws of manifestation.
This morning, we received another batch of beautiful white flowers. They emit a light but heady scent, and form a cluster of blooms around their stem.
The flowers are mathiolas, and they symbolise a happy and contented life. How apt and true. Lisanthius for gratitude and appreciation, and mathiolas for a contented and happy life.
Flowers for universal truths. Universal laws.
