THE Davao City Transportation and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO) is now eyeing to hire 250 more traffic personnel for the proper implementation of the city's traffic code.
CTTMO head Dionisio Abude, during the I-speak media forum Thursday, March 8, said the hiring of the additional traffic personnel was approved by Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte and the hiring process started Wednesday.
Abude said they target to fill in the positions before April 1 in time for the start of the apprehensions of those who do not have Public Utility Vehicle ID.
He said the new personnel will undergo a two-week training with them to know the city's traffic code and the rules and regulations before they will be deployed.
The new 250 personnel will add to the existing 446 personnel of CTTMO.
The applicants for traffic enforcer must be a high school graduate, have a good moral character, and must pass the drug test.
