There’s no denying MOGCHS’ ladies this time around

AN all-MOGCHS showdown in high school girls final assured coach Agustin Yasay of his first taste of championship win in the 2nd Cagayan de Oro Inter-Public School Basketball Tournament after disposing of their respective semifinal rivals, over the weekend, at West City Central School covered courts in brgy. MOGCHS lady Cavaliers dethroned defending champion Indahag National High School by rout, 57-25; while MOGCHS lady BBG did the same to Carmen National High School, 79-38.

After being dominated by Indahag lady Skyhawks for four-straight inter-public cage finals, including two in the Oro Speed tourney, the Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School’s basketball program has grown mature becoming what they are now.

Meanwhile, guest teams Corpus Christi School and Xavier University Grade School (XUGS) will go over for the elementary division title after besting their semifinal opponents. Corpus defeated South City Central School baby Southern Stars, 60-17; while XUGS baby Crusaders dumped Bulua Central School, 80-33.
