ILOILO City Community College (ICCC) now offers free tuition for four-year degree programs Bachelor of Science (BS) Tourism Management and BS Office Administration.
Applications for Academic Year 2018-2019 are currently being accepted.
“In order for us to be a better person, we must value education. It’s the only thing that gives us capability in understanding things around us. It’s something that can’t be taken from us,” Mayor Jose Espinosa III said as he encouraged those who want to finish college.
“Despite poverty, I am glad that there are still many dedicated Ilonggo youth who want to reach their dreams. Now that it offers free tuition, ICCC will be the best venue which will help you find more opportunities in the future,” he stressed.
Interested applicants must have general weighted average of 82 percent or higher with no grades below 80 percent in English, Math, Science, and must be city resident.
They must also submit National Statistics Office copy of Birth Certificate, original copy of report card, income tax return of parent or BIR Tax Exemption Certificate, Certificate of Good Moral Character, Barangay Clearance, Voter’s ID or certification of any parent, and two copies of 2x2 picture.
ICCC is a product of City Government’s partnership with private sector which aims to uplift the dignity of the youth through high quality, affordable, and accessible education. (PR)
