ABOUT 66 members of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Mobile Force Company (NOCPMFC) yielded negative in the surprise drug test last week.
Inspector Charmae De Paz, public information officer of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), said Tuesday, March 20, that results of the test were released on March 19, four days after the test was conducted.
The test was initiated by NOCPMFC commander Superintendent Robert Lingbawan in relation to the intensified internal cleansing of policemen in Western Visayas.
It was conducted by the Provincial Crime Laboratory at Nocppo headquarters on March 14.
De Paz said, only 66 out of the 99 personnel of Nocpmfc submitted their urine samples during the test, as some of them were conducting police operations. (GYM)
